Example Calculation:

Suppose you want to make 1 cubic yard of concrete with a 1:2:4 ratio (1 part cement, 2 parts sand, 4 parts aggregate).

After entering the ratio and total volume as 1 cubic yard, the calculator will display the amounts needed:

  • Cement: 0.117 cubic yards (or the equivalent in cubic meters)
  • Sand: 0.233 cubic yards (or the equivalent in cubic meters)
  • Aggregate: 0.467 cubic yards (or the equivalent in cubic meters).
